Alfred Goldberg
President of the Americas
Co-Founder and President of the Americas, Absolute Mobile Solutions Alfred Goldberg is the President of the Americas for Absolute Mobile Solutions, an international mobile strategy and execution consultancy.
Alfred co-founded Absolute Mobile Solutions in 2000 and has been an independent technology voice for mobile ever since. His passion is helping visionary companies effectively develop successful mobile strategies. Over the years, Alfred's business and IT background led to his involvement with innovative mobile technology companies and their customers in over a dozen countries. Alfred began his fascination with mobile while developing solutions targeting the Palm Pilot PDA back in the 90’s. He and his partners built one of the first mobile app stores, an ecommerce site selling Palm applications called PalmCenter.com.
Alfred attended the University of South Florida where he pursued a BA in Economics. Alfred has recently designed a curriculum to teach mobile design and development to students at the International Academy of Design and Technology Online (IADTO), one of the first such curriculums in the country.
Alfred devotes a great deal of his time to the pursuit of “giving back,” a personal commitment he made after learning the value of service as a student at Jesuit High School. Alfred has held leadership roles in a number of organizations including AIGA Tampa Bay, Tampa Bay WaVE, Connect Florida, the Tampa Bay Technology Forum’s CEO Council, the Florida Holocaust Museum, and the Romanian-American Chamber of Commerce. He has also served as an advisor to the WEDU New Media Task Force, Hillsborough Community College, the Employ Florida Banner Center for Creative Industries, the Museum of Science and Industry, and the Florida Orchestra.
He is a dynamic and articulate technologist that utilizes his broad knowledge to effectively communicate the most complex solutions in a clear, direct ways customers embrace and utilize. Alfred has presented at over 20 industry events.
Alfred is a member of the American Marketing Association and holds a tier-1 certification from the Mobile Marketing Association.
