Tampa, FL (October 14, 2012) -- Alfred Goldberg, president of Absolute Mobile Solutions, has been selected to receive the Hope Cohen Barnett Young Leadership Award, a prestigious honor given every year by the Tampa Jewish Community Center & Federation to a young leader who demonstrates commitment to service and leadership in the Jewish community. 

Goldberg will be honored with other Tampa Jewish community leaders on Thursday, November 8 at 7pm the Tampa JCC & Federation’s 2013 Annual Campaign & Community Leadership Awards at Congregation Schaarai Zedek, 3303 West Swann Avenue.  

"Alfred is an outstanding leader who has demonstrated his commitment to our community through both his volunteer service and his generosity," said Gary Gould, Chief Executive Officer of the Tampa Jewish Community Center & Federation. "We are delighted to honor him with the prestigious Hope Cohen Barnett award." 

Last year, Goldberg was a participant in the 2011 Sister Cities Trade Mission to Israel, organized by the Tampa JCC & Federation. In addition, he is a 2010 graduate of the Jewish Leadership Training Institute, and is currently a member of the Leadership Council for the Florida Holocaust Museum, a major donor to the Tampa JCC & Federation, and a supporter of USF Chabad. 

Goldberg co-founded Absolute Mobile Solutions in 2000 and is passionate about helping visionary companies effectively develop successful mobile strategies. He also has held numerous leadership roles in the technology, entrepreneurship and workforce development community, including AIGA Tampa Bay, Tampa Bay WaVE, Connect Florida, the Tampa Bay Technology Forum’s CEO Council, and the Romanian-American Chamber of Commerce. 

Goldberg attended the University of South Florida where he pursued a BA in Economics. He has designed several curricula on mobile marketing for the International Academy of Design and Technology Online (IADTO).
